Madrone is a tree that has cinnamon looking  bark  with green shiny leafs and blooms red berries. It grows in canyons or wooded areas like Rockville park. the Madrone's berries are edible and the patwins used the berries for special drinks like, cider.It is also made for tea and food .the patwins ate the berries  fresh cooked. the bark is used for sore through and stomach aches. madrone is an awesome plant.
